Here are some ideas that you can implement to make your Facebook page more worth liking.

Develop Apps

Apps can be modified according to the demands of your audience. How you do it is a completely individual decision, depending on your viewers, their interests, your business and how you plan to interact with your fans. Create value with your apps and bring in users to use them. When they do, it will upsurge their engagement with your page, giving them more acquaintance to your content. As long as the app is fascinating and valuable to majority of your audience, they’ll put it to use.

Facebook Comments; Use them for Your Blog

While it doesn’t technically involve users to engage with your page, using Facebook comments on your blog lets you put your discussion on your Facebook page. Users will be able to involve with your page both off and on the site, giving them more motivation to visit and keep talking. It’s always likely that they’ll further like and discover your page when the discussion is detailed.

Feature A Fan

Who doesn’t like to see their creations featured in a public place. It allows them to be a part of your fame, even if your fame is a bit small. This can tie in with other forms of promotion, including contests.

Conduct Contest

Contests are a great way to keep your visitors coming back to your page. The trick is that you need to run contests with prizes that are connected to your business in some way. If you’re giving away discount card, you’re going to fill up your follower list with people who want discount card, with people who care about your business and your product. Giving away your product, or something only your business can give, more easily ensures comparatively focused engagement.

Don’t Sound Too Promotional

You might have heard thousands of people advising you not to sound like a salesperson trying to sell a product door to door. Social media is a place where you should sound personal rather than too sales related. You should feel comfortable talking to your customers.

Give Away Facebook Coupons

This is really valuable if you really have a store. It can work with online stores as well. Just give away regular coupons to your Followers on Facebook. This will help them keep coming back to you for more. You can do the same thing with your website but it doesn’t mean they will visit your Facebook page.

Valuable Content is to be Shared

You are probably sharing your blog posts on your Facebook page, right? That is totally fine and it is fruit of your efforts that people like and appreciate. If you are making blog posts on other sites as well, share it on your Facebook page. You can give to opinion about events of your industry and content that might interest your audience, nothing too technical or too monotonous. Facebook is a lighter side of social media and puns are always welcome.

Be Generous

If you’re just posting your own blog posts always, it means you’re a tad narcissistic. It is always wise to flavor up your page with articles from other people as well. That also should have original credits and links attached to it. You can give your own opinion about the post and add it as description.

Share Exclusive Posts

When you’re sharing some exclusive posts that can only be found on your page, you’re increasing your chances of being visited by more people. if you’re just like everyone else sharing the same content every other page is sharing, people might start unfollowing your just to get rid of the clutter on their newsfeed.

Respond to Query

When your users comment or post a query, do your best and answer them promptly. If they have a customer services issue, try to resolve it by inbox or refer them to customer services representative. A mere Thank You can go a long way; a personal note will go a longer way. This way your users will know they are interacting with a human being not a bot.Try to refrain from a comment war and ignore profane and rude comments.

Keep Your Account Alive!

You have to keep updating your page, doing it once or twice a week will not do you any good. You have to steer engagement your way by updating constantly. If users visit your page and see posts two weeks old, this will give them an impression that you are not tending to your page and will not visit again. Facebook’s EdgeRank will push your page farther away from the sight of viewers which is of course not good for your page.

Share Media

Social media especially Facebook literally works on images and videos. You should share images and videos rather than lengthy text posts because people will not read those posts. you can add a 2-3-line description with your post but not longer than that. Remember amount of words doesn’t matter the quality of words matter. Select a good quality image worth sharing.

Be Funny

Who doesn’t like jokes, memes and vines, it is basically the reason most of the people use social media to delve into the relatively funny world of Facebook. So be funny and give them something to laugh about, puns related to your field is a great idea to share.

Be Positive

There is so much negativity around us that it really is a fresh thing to see when someone is being positive. Always post positive motivational quotes and positive body images to help spread positivity around you.
