The Mechanism of Hashtags
Hashtags are important links that connect your searched information to other posts which use the same one. They are easy to find and follow because these help in classifying posts related to a subject making them easy to find and follow. The users can easily communicate with others by a hashtag field by tagging their post with same one each time. Hashtags have many advantages for example, different companies can use tags to get feedback from their users regarding a campaign or product. Secondly, these are also useful for doing research work like they can help in solving the problems of users where they are having an issue or what the specific users are interested in.
Hashtags are best used sparingly: There is a limitation of tags by twitter for their users. It is favorable for you to post only 2-3 hashtags in a post. You should not hashtag every word you use in your tweet. In business point of view, it can lead you to trouble. Twitter itself recommend its users that they should only post hashtags that are related to their subject. Trying to use more hashtags can make the other person and even your audience annoy who try to have a conversation in that post.
Long Hashtags Should be Avoided
Using a long hashtag in your tweets would make them useless and annoying. You should avoid using hashtags in half of your conversation because it would not result in useful conversation with the other person. Similarly, it makes difficult for the users to properly read the conversation that use hashtags# in their conversation because it contains less conversation and more hashtags. The main purpose of using hashtags in conversation is to keep the post around the main topic. So in order to make your conversation more dominant, it will be better that you should avoid using hashtags.
Use Upper Case
Using Capital letters in your posts is really important. With its use, it will help the other person to easily read and understand the what you want to say. For example, if you want to mention your travel review to others. You should say that you went to #Thailand. Here if in case you do not make use of capital letters and write that you went to #thailand, then it would lead the reader to misunderstand what you actually want to say. Here the use of capital letter is important rather than the hashtag. The use of capital letters is mainly helpful when you include 3-4 words in your post or otherwise if you use words that when written together can be misread by the reader.
Over Usage Should be Avoided
The main use of hashtags is to organize the conversations. It is also being helpful in holding numerous conversations at one time. But they cannot be used to maintain all your tweets in one place. For example, if you take the example of Coca cola, it will not be beneficial for them if they post #Coke on their tweets. You do not need hashtags for every conversation you make. Users can instead visit your profile to attain all the information he requires. You can post general comments that you make for your audience without the use of hashtags. You can post questions with a specific hashtag that can allow the users to reply to the specific comment with @.
If you do not use hashtags due to some specific reasons like forgetting their use or are afraid to use them then in this case, you are damaging yourself. The hashtags are very easy and simple to use by just searching for it before you use them. Similarly, if you do not use hashtags in your profile then it means that you communicate with people who directly follow you.
Hashtags are considered as one the best ways to get connected into a conversation among those people who do not follow you and results in great way to get more followers. Furthermore, if hashtags are missing in your tweet then it would seem colorless.

Participate in tagged Conversations
Twitter is a part of social media through which you connect with other through conversation. It does not serve the purpose to extensively advertise your business. When you find a tag that is relevant to the ongoing conversation you must concentrate on the point of view of people and what actually the conversation is about. You should try to contribute in the ongoing conversation by tweeting your personal point of view that what you actually think about the current topic. On the other hand, do not try to market your product in between the conversation. Your conversation should be informative and attracting so that more and more people can be attracted.
Come up with Creative Tags for Specific Promotions
In an ongoing conversation you should show respect to other people. This platform is a decent place where different people come and give their point of view related to a specific topic. It is not a place where you can enter at once and post an irrelevant point to distract the users. You can try to use some alternate words in order to make the tag creative and unique. You can also add some precise introduction when you tag. Also you should not overuse or underutilize the use of hashtags and should also have respect for the people who are having an existing conversation.
