Nowadays, the buying trends on the social media network has increased a lot. The social media channels like the Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest and many other channels have emerged as the great platforms for buyers.
Due to the high competition these days, many users as well as marketers do not have time to update their existing social accounts on different social networks.
For this purpose, today many users and marketers prefer to integrate two or more accounts as required. This has surely made their work much easier as it used to be in previous times.
I have discussed some of the ways in which you can easily integrate both you Instagram and Facebook account and get advantage of both of them.
Step 1: Link both Profiles
The first major step which you can use to link your Instagram profile to your Facebook page is very simple. Although due to some changes in the devices the process may differ from the other. Like if you are using your mobile device to link both your profiles that is the Facebook and Instagram. Then the process may be different if you are planning to do it on a desktop. Now here just make sure of one thing. It is that you have both your accounts active which includes your Facebook account as well as your Instagram account.
If you are using an iOS device for this purpose. Then in this case you first need to log into your Instagram account. It is very obvious though. Then as for the next step you need to go to your Instagram profile and then click on the gear icon. On this icon you can see the preferences and settings options. Now click on the share settings button. When you click it you can now see the list of social channels which you want to link with your Instagram account. Select Facebook. Now enter all the required information regarding your Facebook account which is asked. After you have entered all the required information. Finally a site permission will be given to you in order to link your Instagram account with your Facebook account. And you are done with the process.
What to do if you are an Android user?
If you are an Android device user. Then you need to log into Instagram account from your mobile device and then go to your profile page. Now you will see some vertical settings. Click on it. After that go to your Linked Accounts. From this particular menu you need to click on to the option of Facebook. Enter all the required information here so that you are logged in. Now you can safely integrate both your Instagram and Facebook account and use them as you like.
I have seen some of the users who still use the Windows phones. For integrating both your accounts on Windows phones just log on to your Instagram account first. Now search for the icon”…” and click it to go to the settings. Next you need to scroll down the available options till you find the option of preferences. Now just within this option find Share Settings. At this point select Facebook. You will be asked to enter your Facebook information here too. Enter the information to log in. Finally, you will see your accounts linked together.
After linking your Instagram and Facebook accounts by using any of the above procedures. You are now permitted to use both at the same time. This means that at the time you post an image on your Instagram account, you can post it on Facebook at the same time too. You can see this option on the “add a caption” screen while uploading any of your image.
Step 2: how to Lay the Groundwork
You can use some of my recommended tactics if you really want to succeed using the two of your integrated profiles. For this purpose, building a strong foundation of your social network is very important. You must keep both your Facebook and Instagram profiles up to date. Also make sure that both your profiles are complete, robust and branded as well. By saying this, I clearly mean that both your profiles should have the same context. This includes having same logos, same profile pictures, same content and all other relevant aspects must be similar too.
Everything you post on your social accounts must be unique and informative. Always avoid posting some old and boring stuff. On your Instagram account it is better to use some high quality images which are a great way to attract many users. You simply take pictures with your cameras or mobile phones and then edit them by using your laptop or desktop. And then post it. It is just that simple.
If you have hired a professional photographer, then you can just ignore this step.
When you are done with editing your image, you can now upload it and post it on your Instagram account. You can further customize your filters, your captions, your tags and your description if required. Now push your image to your Instagram account and further share it on Facebook as well.
Step 3: Move your Steps towards Success
Due to the increasing competition these days you really need to work hard in order to succeed on the social network. First and the most important aspect is to remain focused of what is happening around you. And also on what type of stuff you are posting. Is the stuff really worth posting or not? First judge yourself in all aspects.
Running your social accounts effectively is just not as easy as you think. If you are using the Instagram. Then firstly it is really important that you try to avoid any form of promotional stuff in your posts. The reason why I am saying this is because Instagram is not the right place to do so. If you really need to market something, then you can attract the users attention to your business or your products by using some attractive images. Using any kind of sales context is not the right option.
Just try to post your contents on a weekly basis if you cannot do more. It is the minimum which I recommend. Ideally I would suggest you to post your stuff on a daily basis. In addition to this, you can also share your Instagram posts through your other social channels. These can include YouTube, Twitter, Google+ or any other available channel too. You will see some great results in a very short period of time.
